Experience Iron County’s extensive trail system and see the real beauty of Northern Wisconsin. There are trails for ATV, Snowmobile, Mountain Bike and Ski. During the winter, ATV’s are welcome on most of the Iron county Snowmobile trails. The ATV trails are about 250 miles of diverse riding with stops available for food, beverages, gas and lodging. While riding you’ll see plenty of lakes and waterfalls through the forest which make up about 80% of the land in Iron County, also the county’s historical mining and lumbering sites add interest within the wilderness. The waterfalls, lakes and forest of the Penoke Range combine to make Iron County trails a great ATV adventure.
